I didn't think the Z was capable of 28.
I don't keep up with MPG whatsoever, but round-trip to work is a leisurely 32 miles, I don't have a heavy foot (most of the time) and I'm confident I'm nowhere near 28.
Wow!
Apparently there's a thin line between being a "fan" and being a "nut."
Ah, the ages-old question. First documented in ancient Persian philosophical texts around 1500 BCE..."What car would you give up a testicle for?"
Depends on personal and financial situation. But not unlike the...
Interesting. My '03 Track had something they called "Zero Lift Package." Never dug into what it was, but it's possible it was just the little air dam under the front bumper.
Actually, if Googlebot is correct, now I know...
"The 2003 Nissan 350Z "Zero Lift" aerodynamic design was a hallmark of...
Leaning tankless as well. Haven't really dug into the install side of that, but I did read/see somewhere that you can get the compressor into the master cylinder compartment. No clue if that's true. As I plan tankless and front-only I hope there's a way to mount it somewhere in/toward the front...
Whatās the scuttlebutt on his situation? Read an article earlier that said āserious illnessā and that it may have something to do with his sinuses. This one says āsevere illness.ā
41, wife and young kids. Man!
Donāt follow NASCAR, but love him or hate him, dude was a true wheeler.
Lol, tire hair is The Devil. I don't know why it grinds my gears so much, but I posted a rant on here about it at some point. I pulled all 4 wheels/tires off not long after I got my Z, washed and ceramic coated them, then individually cut off every single tire hair.

My assumption, therefore plan, is to measure the preset spring height, measure the thickness of the cup, install the cup, then adjust the spring perch to original dimension + the cup thickness. Thinking that sets the preload back to where it was originally. Correct?
Yeah, what I was getting at...
If you weren't talking to me this will be a pretty worthless post, but here goes...
Are you talking about the switch/button for the cups? If so, I've got 2 poverty buttons in the center console. The Stanceparts harness has just one panel mount button, I believe.
Planning to do the full...

Setup finally shipped from Sakebomb. Should arrive Tuesday (cups come later). Unfortunately it will be a bit until I can install it (Aug?...idk). Still need to get rear toe and traction arms (SPL). Thanks to your 60mm vs 65mm spring perch...
Someone I work with is running Hankooks (Ventus S1 Evo 3) and I had never checked out their lineup so I took a look on Tire Rack. What stuck out to me was the treadwear rating for that specific tire varied a pretty good bit based on the size. I believe it spanned 180 to 420 on treadwear...
Agree with @Mugzilla 100%
I do NOT want to start a debate, and my personal preference is to stick with a filter with a recommended higher bypass rating. But if youāre using spec oil and changing regularly (5k or less), unless you have something going wrong in your engine thatās contaminating the...
Agreed on the governance, but Iāll leave that alone.
Everything in life has its trade-offs.
in California youāre surrounded by incredible natural beauty and weather, but thereās random earthquakes and the constant threat that everything you have will be burned to the ground.
Here in Florida...
DearLordThat'sAwesome!!!!!
Not trying to compare apples and oranges, but Is the "3rd Way" adjustability sort of like what Ohlins implemented with the DFV technology? Separating the damping for low and high speed compression....adjustable with valving, not on-the-fly adjustability like these...
Do we know if there were any revisions to the pump, sending unit and the other stuff in the tank?...or if it's just the tank itself, and everything else is identical?
Since we're sharing...
This is my daily I got a couple of years ago...on my ape man arm.
Not a show piece, but amazed how well it keeps time. I lose about 2 minutes per month (+/-4 secs/day). I'm old enough that when I need to know the time I look at my watch, nowhere else.
Replaced an almost 30...
