So, the Stillen exhaust was only about 3 pounds heavier by your findings? I guess that's not too bad at all. Where there any weird vibrations or sound after install?
I'm a drummer myself and checked Stewart out heavily when I was growing up. His embellishments on the high hat and the way he accented the bell on the ride cymbal are still in my playing today and everyone else.
Sorry to hijack your post with music stuff. The Z in silver looks great! Dig the...
I did a search on how many Q50s and 60s were sold during 2016-2017 and over 50 thousand sold during that time. From 2018-2020 and towards the end of product only about 25 hundred sold. This might explain the lack of reported engine failures for the VR30.
Only time will tell with new Z sales.
I just went through several views on FB and found at least 3 instances where people have had coolant consumption and complete engine replacements. So, I would imagine eventually someone on this forum may experience it. I hope I'm wrong!
First thing I do after I drive is check coolant levels and...
I was just thinking about this yesterday. I would imagine if sales go up and more mileage is put on these current engines, that will give us an idea. Something to watch out for in the next couple of years or so.

I've only seen my Z go into 9th gear while being on the highway over 70 mph. It's just a fuel economy thing. It's the one gear that's really not needed on this car, just my opinion.
If I remember, didn't you just recently get your car tuned by Mark at sonictuned? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Anyway, if I went with big power I'd probably stay with the auto. I need both hands on the wheel, lol! I do like the Nismo in passion red. It will all depend on the price though.
I did a KBB value on my car with 1800 miles and it comes up about 52K. I'm baffled at the depreciation of these cars. Just make sure you don't buy a car that a the journalist beat to death!
I wonder if the manual Nismo is going to have the big muffler like the performance manual does? I bet the price will start at msrp and no less for awhile. I've got a 2024 that is paid for, and got a big discount on it. I did drive a 6MT performance and it was a blast, but to be out all that...
