Any VIN that starts with J is made in Japan. JN is Nissan, JF is Subaru etc. 11th character for the Z should be M which is the Tochigi Plant.

God I loved my 24 GR86. Still think about it even with the Z.

At 5000 miles I installed the Z1 catch can with the drain hose and didn’t cut it. It rests on the under shroud. At 7500 miles I drained it to see how much it caught. Looks to be just about 1oz. The Z1 catch can with the full drain hose holds almost 8oz.
