you should remove the blue protective film you should also take it easy during the recommended 1200 mile break-in period.

i would do 10-40 over the 5-40. the further apart the two numbers the shear strength will not hold up under stress as good.

Made me look. Mine was installed by the dealer along with the deflectors. They did not install the front chin spoiler, front license plate holder and frame. Looks like you have to drill holes for the chin spoiler, so I’m not installing it.

The brake fluid service interval (20k or 2 years) is mainly because of the dot 4 fluid and to maintain a higher than normal performance. Dot 4 absorbs water much faster than dot 3. But since you are in a dry climate along with mild manner driving, water might not an issue for you. I wonder...

for street use, i wouldn't worry about the brake fluid. I have 200K+ miles on my taco and never changed the brake fluid or add any. keep that system sealed as long as you can. However, I would change the engine, tranny and diffy fluids early and often.
