  1. NISMO USA to release LM-RS6 wheel

Not sure if the centercaps will fit other wheels. I didn’t order them separate (they came with the wheels), so they may be made specifically for the LM-RS6.
  2. NISMO USA to release LM-RS6 wheel

Decided to pick these up for my OEM+ build. Trying to keep everything strictly Nissan/Nismo parts wherever feasible, and didn’t want to go with aftermarket wheels. I don’t really like the spokiness of the other Nismo options, so I landed on the LM-RS6. Specs are: F: 18x9.5 +35 on 275/40/18 R...
  3. Heritage Z front fascia and wheel mouldings

PSA to anyone considering the heritage fascia: Since the heritage fascia now shows up on the Nissan parts site and you can select it as an option in the configurator, I figured it was available to purchase and placed an order. After a bunch of back and forth with the dealer, I got the following...
  4. 2027 NISSAN Z (Refresh Model) Specs & Gallery

I was looking forward to this, but now that I’ve seen it, I’m glad I got a Zenki. That tan interior is immaculate, though. I might have to convert to that!
  5. Facelifted Z & Z NISMO Manual to debut at Tokyo Auto Salon In January

Any mentions of wheel changes for MY27? I know previous generations’ facelifts were usually accompanied by wheel changes. I’m on the cusp of a wheel purchase, but I might wait until the reveal to see if we get any good new options.
  6. 18 x 10.5 square fitment

This is 10.5ā€ +15 in the front. Way too much poke, IMO. Proper 10.5ā€ fitment for the front is closer to +30-35, but not sure about inner clearance. And not a lot of options in that offset range without going custom offset. I think most manufacturers assume 10.5ā€ wheels are destined for the rear...
  7. Nissan Z Aero options

Aimgain is the closest to OEM+ from what I’ve seen. Smooth and clean, without all the boy racer vents and fangs. Spendy, though.
  8. Sport vs performance trade off

Looks like good work. What shop did you use? I’m in Murfreesboro. I was thinking about getting the interior accents done in Recaro confetti or HKS monotone oil slick to match the vintage JDM aesthetic.
  9. What did you do with your Z today? šŸ™‹šŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

There’s a little round ā€œnubā€ that sticks down on the front subframe. However, my low profile jack couldn’t reach it, so I picked up the Cusco jack assist ramps. Can reach it no problem with the ramps.
  10. What did you do with your Z today? šŸ™‹šŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

Z1 sent me the F0E. I even double checked it was the right filter, but didn’t read beyond the first page of the ā€œOEM Oil Filter part number?ā€thread. šŸ™„ The mentioned CZP panel looks the nicest of the available options and was gonna be my pick at first, but I didn’t like the style of the oil...
  11. What did you do with your Z today? šŸ™‹šŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

Did the first oil change at 1,672 miles. Been keeping it under 4,000 RPM for the break in, so revving it out for the first time since I brought her home in March was fun! Went ahead and installed a Fumoto valve and the Z1 undershroud while I was down there, and then took a glamour shot since I...
  12. Sport vs performance trade off

Agreed. The whole point of my first post was to warn that if OP is actually concerned about ā€œperformanceā€, then maybe the deceptively named Performance trim isn’t the best option. It’s well documented that the Performance is still a floaty, rolling mess when pushed. The $10k cheaper Sport makes...
  13. Sport vs performance trade off

This is the post you see from someone having a hard time coping with the fact that a Sport Z with $5k in suspension, brakes, and tires will absolutely walk a ā€œPerformanceā€ Z, open diff and all. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  14. Sport vs performance trade off

Sounds like OP has already made up their mind, but another thing to consider is that the spoilerless decklid looks soooooooo much better. šŸ˜† I fully realize it is silly, but this was near the top of the list of my considerations when I was debating Sport vs. Performance. The spoiler ruins the...
  15. Sport vs performance trade off

If you truly care about ā€œperformanceā€, the Performance trim will not satisfy. And if you’re gonna end up swapping the suspension, brakes, wheels , etc. anyways, I see no reason to pay the extra $10k. Unless you just really love Bose and leather! The Performance trim just never made sense to me...
  16. How To: Removing the Factory Head Unit ('24 Sport)

That’s right, see the pic below of me ohming out the contacts of the dash and door speaker plugs to show continuity. Kind of hard to see, but the red lead is alligator clipped to the dash speaker wire and the black lead is alligator clipped to the door wire. I checked and re-checked this like...
  17. Scrape to dash material

That plastic is unbelievably soft, this kind of marring if inevitable if you actually plan to drive the car. Mine is a garage queen that I plan to keep low mileage and immaculate, and this kind of stuff really bothers me, too! An option I’ve considered is just buying a back up center console...
  18. Oil Change 2025 Z

This is cool, I haven’t seen these before. I haven’t been under the car yet to see the angle of the drain. Do you regret not getting one of the options with the nipple for even easier draining? Any concerns with clearance with those options?
  19. Muffler delete?

I can get a high quality recording, but it will really only be a reference for tone. You won’t really be able to gauge the volume since there won’t be a ā€œbeforeā€ recording to compare it to. I could put it next to my Frontier and rev them both up for a frame of reference, maybe? They are very...
  20. Muffler delete?

I have this exact setup. MT Z that I swapped to the AT mid-pipe and the EOS muffler delete axle back. Tone is amazing and not offensively loud. Even with aggressive driving, from outside it just sounds like a sporty car. Not obnoxious. It did introduce some mild drone between ~1,700-2,700 RPM...
