Indications are that Nissan didn't do well with at least some of the Nismo suspension parts for the RZ34. Z1 on the other hand has a pretty highly-regarded track record
I have actually found the same thing...quite different from the two 370Z's that I owned. My 2024 Performance is very comfortable cruising at 90MPH, and pushing it above 100 is likewise devoid of drama.
I'm less confident in the OEM Potenza's, so I'm less likely to push the car in the...
All my cars and my airplane have leather seating surfaces. Pretty common to see that...dyes from clothing rubbing off on the surface. The harder it is to get in and out, the more likely the discoloration.
It's held on with double sided tape. If it bothers you, just go buy some 3M tape, remove the piece and re-apply to your satisfaction. You could try to sell it as a warranty issue, but I doubt you'd be successful.
Sure…makes sense…the cheaper the showroom price, the more you can spend on suspension upgrades. As it is, the MSRP price difference between a Z and a Supra is such that you can pretty much equalize the two from a handling standpoint by upgrading the Z and end up at the same price. Some real...
Every Z car I've ever owned, 9 of 'em since 1970, has had more body roll than I'd like...easily solved with sway bars. Other than that, I've never found the Z to have a "soft suspension". OTOH, suspension is a highly subjective experience and I would definitely recommend that you drive the car...
It doesn't sound like you are part of Nissan's target market for the RZ34. I think it's likely that you wouldn't be happy if you bought a Z. If I were you, I'd either have to buy a Nismo, resign myself to several thousand dollars in aftermarket upgrades, or look at a different car (at a...
History would suggest that that might be a forlorn hope. The RZ34 chassis and suspension is the same as the R34, which itself went unchanged through the 11 year life of the 370Z. The Z isn't a huge moneymaker for Nissan and the global market for 2WD GT cars is fading. I'd sure be disinclined to...
I was in my Nissan dealer yesterday (wife got a new Murano) and noted that they had five Z's on the floor...two Nismo's and three Performance (only one was a MT). All were discounted. They're moving, but slowly according to my sales guy, and increasingly slowly as we approach winter when all Z's...
Earlier this week I took it to a buddy who has a performance shop (just became aware that he’d opened it). We put it on the lift…I wanted to inspect because of the images of bent Nismo sway bars and annoying low-speed squeaking, as well as resetting from max-stiff to max-soft (Z1 bars have two...
Yeah, that, if you hit it hard enough. Try driving the highway hard, thenputt-putting that ramp after exiting. See if you find a speed where your engine doesn't die. I'm not saying this is your problem, but it's similar to complaints I saw a lot on The 370Z forums from guys hitting sweeping...
I stopped in at a local performance shop today because I wanted to move my Z1 sway bars to the softest of the three settings. They were installed on the firmest setting (closest holes) and I found them to be too harsh. I also wanted to check them to see if they were bent as in the photos above...

Of course, processor demands for rendering video are completely different than static graphics. Anyway, I suspect that the camera video hardware is separate from the infotainment stuff. I think it's unlikely that we'll ever see any upgrades to any of that system software, based on my...
Yes...the video stream at the size of the Z's display is a LOT of data to write. Lack of processor capability will cause the issue you describe. In software, they could change the resolution at the cost of frame rate, or vice versa, but not both. That's a processor limitation.
I'm curious what...
