I have the Tamiya 1/24th kit...still trying to find the best acrylic paint color match for my Gun Metallic Z Performance 2024. For airbrushing....open to any brands, but generally use Tamiya or Vallejo acrylics. Any ideas?
My experience on these OEM Potenzas over the last few days, sunny and 40° ambient, dry roads, has been that I've seen no traction issues up to 0.6 G's. I haven't pushed it any harder than that. I do notice every crack and tar strip on the road, likely a combination of tire and the heavy sway...
I use this one in all of my vehicles. Very secure, mounts easily, the magnet holds very well...I've never had it fall off. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BGYB1YT8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Discount Tire has two websites....Discount Tire and Discount Tire Direct. One is online ordering with tires shipped to your home, and the other provides online scheduling for tire installation at the time of ordering the tires. https://www.discounttirefamily.com/about-us/ . I first became aware...
I was out running errands all day yesterday in the Z (Performance, AT). The roads were dry and reasonably warm in the sun at 40°F ambient temperature. There was some dust on the roads from salting for what little snow we've had this year. That did impair grip a bit, but I didn't really push the...
I used the Pilot Super ports for previous Z's and they were a great tire. I don't track the car but do drive aggressively. Probably don't need tires of that quality but the thing that sold me is they also tend to be quieter and reportedly had better rain grip than the Potenza.
The Pilot Super...
My 2024 Performance Z came with the usual Potenza S007 tires. On my previous 370Z's I always ditched the OEM Potenzas and switched to Michelin PSS with the first tire change. I never worried about cold weather adhesion because, this being Minnesota, I always put the car away until spring with...
My local Ford dealer has a very comprehensive vinyl wrapping service, with a lot of fancy printers and cutters. They also do PPF install as well, downloading the vinyl pattern from their software service and then uploading it to the cutter. I had them wrap the front fenders and hood, mirrors...
My first car was a 1945 CJ-2A Willys Jeep. Second car was a 1962 Austin-Healy Sprite (bug-eye). Third was a 1969 Roadrunner. FOURTH car was an orange 1970 240Z. My 2024 Performance Z is my 9th Z car in that 50 year period. This car is the most exciting and fun Z car yet. Second most fun Z was...
Tastes differ, I guess...I keep seeing people complaining about it. One guy even had a 15 minute YouTube video complaining about the size of that gas cap door. I'm yet to understand why that's a big deal...?
As noted, you'd likely have better luck at the forum The 370Z.com. Participation there has waned in recent years as the 370Z went basically unchanged for 2009 to the the 2020 model year but still might have more relevant information than this site. Good info on the RZ34 here, but the forum's not...
I'm here from The 370Z forum as well. Not much activity here, but understandable considering that there are only about 1500 Proto/2023/2024 Z's in the US right now.
This is my 9th Z car since my original 240Z in 1970. Never expected that I'd find one in the platform that exceeded the thrill I...
Bottom line...with all my vehicles I pretty much follow the engine manufacturers' recommendations regarding API service classification for oil type and drain intervals. Oil filters are usually OEM for the particular vehicle (if I was changing my own oil I'd probably just use Mobil 1 and NAPA...
I don't feel the need to make the effort...I'm comfortable with my own choices of oil brands and drain intervals. They're different than some of the posters here, but that's OK ;).
Lots of opinions on oil and drain intervals, no real objective data. Likely doesn't make much difference in stock cars in normal-duty daily driving. Cars on the track or with extensive engine mods....different story. I'm sure Amsoil would be fine for either. As I said, however...no penalty for...
Yeah...it's probable that they assume that crappy camera quality isn't likely to be a deal breaker for someone wanting to buy that car, and they're probably right.
Absolutely no downside to changing oil more often than recommended, other than the unnecessary cost. If one doesn't mind spending the money, it won't hurt the car a bit.
