Here is a grille mod that I made on my 2024 Z. Let me know what you think and if there would be any interest in this inexpensive, easily reversible modification.

I totally dig that. The Z decal hasn't caused you any issues?
I initially went with a silver plastic 3D printed Z but that triggered an interference warning if not positioned correctly. Now I am using a thin printed silver emblem that has not caused any problems.

Nismo front ruins the headlights imo. Missing the whole body shape around the front edge of them. Heritage stays a bit more faithful in keeping it, and overall I think from most angles I'd go with Heritage. On my black Z, it doesn't matter though, so there's that lol

So, you explained the Z, but what did you do to brighten the lower part of the grille?

Thanks for your continued interest Bill

I am not ready to decide where to go with this yet and am continuing to test new materials from different vendors to address some of the complaints received on this forum and another.

Got a lot of criticism stating the grille was too blingy, did not match the top grille or even looked like a BBQ grill. Not complaining - those comments help to move the ball forward and I have ideas on how to improve things.

So far I would say there has not been enough interest to think about commercializing this mod plus I do not need the money or the headaches associated with that approach. But also am not ready to just lay it out there especially since its still in an experimental stage.

In order of my personal preference: Nismo, Refresh, 23-26, Heritage. Here's why:

I think the Nismo looks the most aggressive and ultimately fits the more modern aesthetic best. The '27 Refresh looks really good in my opinion, but I'm not entirely sure it needs the bar in the middle to create separation...I have seen a few photoshops where it was scrubbed and I feel like that looks better, but overall I do think it's a solid improvement.

I think the '23-'26 grill looks good from a lot of angles, but head-on it just looks odd and out of place with the rest of the lines on the body. That said, I appreciate the "retro" approach and while a lot of people reference the OG models, I always felt like the rectangular shape was also a bit of a nod to the 350Z grill opening. Maybe I'm the only one that feels that way but I never see anyone else mention that.

No offense to Heritage owners, but this is just my least favorite option...again it's mostly just a case of my opinion that it doesn't fit as well with the rest of the body lines. And to me, it kind of feels like an afterthought.
