Rumor Mill: 2025 Z color changes

Rumor Mill. There are possible incoming color changes for the 2025 Z. According to Japanese sources Nissan looks to be bringing back some familiar colors from the Z34 and maybe one from the outgoing R35. The new colors would be replacing the current two- tone super black roof versions.

Carmine Red XJT ( known as Passion Red in the US) replaced by A54 Vibrant Red. This one seems the most logical with the extremely low production we have seen the last 2 model years with red

Ikazuchi Yellow XJS replaced by Premium Ultimate Yellow EAC ( known as Chicane yellow in the US)

XJR Serian blue could be replaced by the Wangan Blue RCB ( used on the R35)

Will see if any of these rumors pan out but as there have been some difficulties with certain colors and with production stepping up I could see how it would make sense to make a change for 2025 and offer some different color options.

I'm glad they are making these changes! I wonder if the colors will retain their metallic sparkle finish or if they will be flat colors. Either way, I'm glad I'll finally be able to get a red Z (fingers crossed) lol

I can't wait to see these on the road. Oh wait. I haven't seen another Z on the road yet.

Seriously, though, if the black roof was part of the problem, I welcome solid-color Z's.

we will see. this is being talked about on Japanese language blogs about their specific region but I heard the vibrant red one from multiple sources. I think when a color is discontinued it is so for all markets as that would make production easier.

The Vibrant Red and Chicane Yellow are the OG 370z colours from 15 years ago?

They should try coming out with a metallic purple. The 2025 c8 has a new purple exterior option.

Easier to bring back old colors than to figure out how to get the current colors to lay down and cure correctly, I suppose. I really wanted the 2024 red color, but they are nonexistent.

Yes, Vibrant Red and Chicane Yellow on the 370z are "flat" non metallic.

For my OG folks: is vibrant red similar to Nogaro red?

Similar, as reds would be but not the same.
370z Vibrant Red is - A54
The 350z had 3x reds
Nogano Red - A41
Solid Red - A54
Redline - AX6

Photoshop of the z in wangan blue?? Love the seiran tho hope it becomes rare as time goes on, such a good blend in daylight and during the night. Also i like the 2 tone
