Looks like apexi usa are doing special orders with the bumper painted to your color spec also. Seems very intriguing, not sure how i still feel about this one

Depends on if Canada gets the special edition that comes with this bumper. If they do there will be a part # to order it separately

Hoping it'll be a faster too lol. Ive considered this bumper but the price and wait time from Apexi isn't worth it imo.

I did a temporary look for about $6.00 yes Six dollars. home Depot composite, some yellow vinyl wrap and a few bolts..

keep an eye on your temps. there will be decreased cooling with that added there.


when Nissan was contemplating bringing the customized bumper to market at first they said it would stay a concept as it would interfere with the cooling. then they later said after testing for street only use the bumper would be ok as the japanese cars are limited to 111 mph.

here is an article from japan talking about it. Anything Do it yourself or even that speed forme grill add on will most likely cause varying degrees of added temps. I would say in commuter situations probably negligible but on hot days when there is a lot of idling or spirited driving it could potentially be something to keep an eye on. Nissan has tested this new bumper at their Arizona testing facility. Ive got pics of it on my phone I cant share

Hmmm thats great to know. Perhaps I'll go Nismo instead as I dont want to encounter issues after tuning. Looks like an upgraded heat exchanger will be even more crucial here.

Call me crazy but I love the huge mouth of the Z performance. Part of the reason I got one was the looks in the front and the rear.

That said, I can see the appeal of this. It doesn't look bad at all. Especially with the "Fairlady Z" badging.

I figured as much. Would be something I would add to it if I got one. Thinking about getting a "Fairlady" added to the rear of mine. Saw someone else here do it. It looks good.
