Oh that 40th Anniversary! If it came with Nav standard back then I'd 100% have gone that route vs my Sport/Tech.

My mk8 GTI :), I now have a small ECS Tuning spoiler on it and a few stickers from the Tail. Forgive the spam lol.

I honestly wasn't sure about that color until I saw it in person, and I fell in love. It's just the right amount of eye-catching imo.

I did a thing folks...

2023 Corvette Stingray Convertible, Red Mist Metallic, Z51 w/ 2LT and front lift.

I've always said "The Z is the only car that could keep me out of a C8" but when Nissan fumbled and C8 prices came back down.....I couldn't pass it up.

I've always wanted a MR car.

congrats on the vette.
i figured it wouldn't be long before you pulled the trigger.

curious as to what the price difference was between it and the z and how much more "bang for the buck" the c8 offers

Stingray was posted for 70k, got them down to 65k + TTL

This is straight up a poor man's exotic, the chassis feel is amazing. The pushrod out back takes some getting used to if you're used to DOHC most of your life.

You have to let it warm up, thoroughly.

DCT is on point, the nannys are there to save you from yourself and in a 500hp MR - you need them.

It'll spin tires on command.

It'll spin itself on command.

This thing will be a nightmare long term I feel, it's "too nice" with tons of toys that'll break.

I dunno how I lived without front lift before.

Honestly the Stingray itself is a handful, this is more than enough car for 97% of the population. I still want to end up with a Z06 when/if they get under 80.
