I filled from about 1/4 yesterday (first fill). Didn’t really take notice, but it has a 62L tank. In perth right now at BP it’s 207c for 98 so am figuring say a 55L fill will be approx $114. Which should last a couple of days ?

bit of this, bit of that
Ossie Park- last indication was May but, yeah.

Pretty sure the first I'll know about it is "it's here, give me money within 48 hours or I'll sell it to someone else".

Went to a car meet at Hamilton Brisbane yesterday and my Proto was 1 or 3 ?

Still turning heads and I'm loving the ride, no plans to change suspension at this stage. Exhaust though needs an upgrade ASAP.
Tint and ceramic coating going on this Thursday along with first 1000km service.

Ran into an issue today with the USB ports losing power and not working. Fixed by re-sitting the audio fuse in the engine bay.

Same dealer as myself and @Hammo25
Hammo got lucky…he has his.
I ordered first week April 2021 still waiting …yellow manual.
Has been built (2nd week Feb) same delivery time line of May
Don’t hold much hope after talking to Aus Management, they are not on boats yet and it will take around 4-5 weeks for delivery once they are ?

Latest they said is a quarantine issue, but if you are following this page, there is no quarantine issue in WA, nor are cars from Japan being delayed, with China, Argentina and Spain being the countries causing most issue. Even in Melbourne back log is almost cleared only 2000 cars left out of 10000
So it sounds like another excuse to me.

Going to look at a BMW Z4 tomorrow. Might give up on the never ending delivery of the Z

Mine arrived unexpectedly. I ordered early June 2022 so well after both of you. Right colour choice clearly!

Hey @West Aussie did you get in touch with Nissan Aus direct or through your dealer? Did it sound like they were waiting for the backlog to clear in ports before planning to ship them? Good luck with the decision, if you're able to get a Z4 they're a pretty nice looking car!

Not through the dealer…I messaged them direct through Facebook and got a sales rep. When they figured out that I wasn’t fibbing about order date (they asked for a copy of my original contract) they got a member from the management team to contact me.
They didn’t say anything about waiting for the back log before sending cars, only that they were waiting cars to be sent and because of the backlog it could take longer.
Having said that as I mentioned…he admitted that there doesn’t seem to be an issue into the west coast (where I am)

As I said I am dubious to accept this as an excuse…I watched the story on ACA the other night and I started to feel bad about giving him a hard time….right up to them saying that most cars affected and in the backlog where from China, and that Japan didn’t even make the top three countries being stopped by quarantine, plus as I said…no issue into WA, and the back log is now almost clear regardless even in Melbourne

He was also very reluctant to give me information I already knew…as in cars built, and delivery was due in May ….kept saying he didn’t want to give me information and it not happen, although in the end when it was clear I had already been given said information he confirmed it . So to me it sounds like, they are not expecting it in May as it was planned

Thats so strange that they cant give you any clarity as to where your orders at given that they have confirmed it. Whats makes it even worse is that as I said previously that approx two weeks ago today when I rang a Victorian dealer about a click bait blue demo and he offered me a Yellow manual for approx May delivery, the Black manual he also offered me went to someone on F/B who also rang up about the click bait blue demo. Very strange that dealer you have never had contact with previously can pull out a few Z's from his back pocket and offer them out.
I reported the two dealers to car sales and the adds have either been withdrawn or now state demo not for sale or new car to order
