2023 Nissan Z Launch Delayed Until Summer 2022

It's all gonna be okay, guys... I just got an email from Nissan saying today's the day, and that there's no need to wait!

My guess is the advertising department is still sleeping off their hangover.

Rest of us in the states we will have to go through Royal Rumble.

Im not convinced that we will all be getting what we want….or even that all pre orders will be filled

Wow that’s very exciting news…I wonder if Aus is in a similar boat…who knows.
it seems Nissan Canada have done the best with this roll out, I don’t mean in terms of having cars first, but communication and updates

which of us Aussies are gonna bug our dealers first to see if this is the same case here!

No kidding! I’m going to see the pre production Z tomorrow. My group owner called. I haven’t heard that the Z cars have landed here in Vancouver so I’ll ask him tomorrow.

That’s interesting. I was told that “week” was supposed to be a week and began January 26th. I had 20 min to fill out the back channel forms and put $1000 down. My dealer owner sits on the National advisory board and said that preorder window shut down that afternoon for the allocations. He said the first three will get theirs right away and the next 7-8 would eventually get theirs. There is 31 on that list now which has to be a mix between the preorder window before the national reservation campaign and the Nissan.ca online reservation campaign. I would be surprised if they are here. He goes down May 4 to the Nissan test track to drive the Z. He would know. But maybe they have to be tight lipped?

I hope it’s true too. I just got this from my dealer 15 min ago:

This is absolutely not true as the vehicle has not even gone into production yet. I’m completely baffled by these online rumours that are not based on actual facts. XXXXXXXX currently sits on the Nissan Canada advisory board and has a close relation with Nissan, if anything he’s usually the first to get knowledge of anything.

Looking forward to you seeing the vehicle tomorrow! Unfortunately I won’t be in but XXXX will be there to ensure you get to see the vehicle.

If you guys check out the Aussie thread, we are still being given July as the estimate for touch down.
As @jezzza said, if this is true they would need to be almost on the boats by now…about 6 weeks to get here I believe and then another two weeks to make it round the coast dropping cars off at each major dock.

They would have to know by now if there will be a delay, but as of now dealers are sticking to the July timeline

I’m getting excited whilst trying not to get too excited in case it’s all a cruel hoax
