Yes that's on my short list, will test drive before I lock in to the Z. Hopefully reviews are coming on the new torque adjusting system for 22 MY designed to improve its handling.
I've watched all the 2022 MX-5 reviews I could find and the consensus seems to be that the new KPC (Kinematic Posture Control) feature is a definite positive inclusion that noticeably helps to reduce excessive body roll that the stock ND's are known for, resulting in increased stability.

From what I've read, the KPC feature is disengaged when you turn off the Dynamic Stability/Traction Control

Does this mean Canada too?
Good question. The article says the "U.S." release has been delayed, not the "North American" release.

  • The 2023 Nissan Z’s arrival date in the United States has been delayed from the spring to the summer of 2022.

Don't want to split hairs but . . . last time I checked Canada was not part of the U.S.A.

We had a pre-order window that the U.S. did not and we, and apparently Australia, are very small markets compared to the U.S. Perhaps Nissan only has enough parts in their supply chain only to satisfy Canadian and Australian orders?

That's called "Boost Weather" my friend.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see them in the wild around September-October.
BOOST. WEATHER. The man knows what's up.

A rear wheel drive car to enjoy it for a few months.
I may hop off this bus.
Didn't know these things came with expiration dates. You buying milk or a car bruh?

Here in Chicagoland I try to avoid salt rotting out my nicer cars. Which is like 5 months out of the year. They LOVE salt around here, winter is like driving through ocean water. I think I would try to avoid having a new Z get attacked by a lot of salt water. So it would be mostly a nicer weather vehicle.

I totally get that. But you're implying you're jumping off the Z bus because it's coming out late in the year. By your own admission, you're not driving anything sporty 5 months out of the year unless you're YOLOing a WRX through snow and salt. So why be dramatic about the timing of the release?

All the articles state that it is also been delayed for Japan.

I highly doubt that if the two biggest markets for the car have been delayed that any other markets even smaller markets like Canada and Australia will get the car first.

I think Nissan is better off to piss every market off equally rather than supply smaller markets first and then piss their biggest markets off more even more.

My guess is that we are probably looking at an August launch and delivers will start September/October at the earliest.

With this new information, I expect you boys and girls to have a very financially responsible summer. As strong as the urge for a hot girl or hot boy summer may be (whatever the hell that means), you must resist. You must save for Z. Z is coming. Z is almost here. Z is good. Z is life.
I've been holding on since Sept 2021. at this rate i will end up like uncle scrooge.

If Nissan had any PR brains (no evidence of such atm of course) they'd be sending generous swag packages out to all those on the Aus and Cad reservation lists as a "sorry we fu**ed up" gesture....
they would but then again they will send them this:
“unforeseen supply chain issues.” you won't be getting no swag.
