Yellow Lamin-X headlights tint film installed

This is the 4th car I've had that gets the yellow headlight treatment. Old school, better visibility in rough conditions and just plain cool looking in my opinion.

The brand is Lamin-X and it's about equal to PPF. They offer clear, yellow, smoked, red, blue, etc.

The install was a total pain, so if you ever think about doing this I recommend a professional unless you're brave! Any bubbles will iron out with sun over a few days.

Looks like an IMSA GTD, as they're mandated to run yellow headlights.

I did this on my bike with normal halogens and noticed the headlights were quite a bit dimmer than before. Let us know if that happens with the LED headlights in the Z. Looks great!

Nothing fun is legal in HI. Replacing my motorcycle turn signals every year for inspection was a pain...

I did run yellow 3000K HIDs on the bike for about 2 years without issue in Oahu, though.

Krylon used to sell a transparent stained glass spray paint years ago. I did my Sportster headlight but only because it was glass and I could scrape it off.

Thanks. I've had a little practice but yeah it's super hard with the curves on these lights. Plus I was hammered drunk at the time LOL
