Fellas,

If you found a leftover new 24 Nismo, at what price would you say it is a must buy. A price where you would be stupid to pass it up. And especially if you already have a performance Z as well.

Let's be realistic. 50? 45? 40?......

Im curious your thoughts.

Anything below 50k honestly, in my region the market has stagnated and I doubt it'll drop any lower, more so since the Z now is order to build so it's no longer produced in a higher quantity. But besides a monetary aspect, if you enjoy driving on twisties and track the Nismo feel will really shine; my Nismo feels stupidly raw, the steering feel, the suspension. It's all great. If not, then it won't be of much value.

AUD numbers here but RRP is $82-83k depending on where you live which is $58k USD and we only get the equivalent to your performance model.

As a comparison - Mustang ($93k AUD before options and Supra $95-105k AUD)

I picked up mine with 300kms on it (of which I put 40 on test drives) for ~$67k AUD which is $47k USD. That was under my "must buy" price by a few thousand.

Can't talk to Nismo but that's more on par with Supra pricing here and to me it wasn't worth the extra $20k and having to deal with an auto.

So I already have a 24 performance. Im not selling or trading. So the nismo would be an addition.

Does that change the price?

When I got my 24 Performance last September for $48 ($10k off) there was a Nismo for $58 ($12k off) at another nearby dealership. I was assuming that was as low as I'd find a Z. Maybe now some dealer will be sick of the car sitting in their showroom.
When you find that dealership, go there with two birthday candles and say you found them in the car. They'll get the joke.
Good hunting!

Location dependent. But personally, I would want a big discount. Car is 2 years old regardless of miles. Body style changing next year too. Dealer wants it gone too so go low.

What is low? That's the key part

I bought a brand new 2024 Nissan Z Nismo in the fall of 2025 at $16,500 of the sticker price! It had a $10,000 rebate and I negotiated the rest, plus some free additional small items! The car sat for about a year in the show room! I pretty much think I was at the right place at the right time! It is an awesome car! My third Z and this one is by far the overall best Z!

Like I said, these type of answers are location dependent. No right answer per se. Go low is the best I got. It’s not like they won’t counter. They are all whores so they won’t tell you to go home.

I get your point...but for conversation sake, an actual # would be nice.

Last May I got a leftover 24 performance for 47k. MSRP was 55k.

This past July…prime season, I got $19k off a 24 Heritage with 1,800 miles on it. New Nismo on the lot was $12k off sticker. I decided on Heritage because Nismo was way overkill for me. So I would say $15 - $17k. If you already have a performance, why bother! Harsher ride with better handling but it sounds like a big waste of $ to me. But, it ain’t may $. 🤣

hmmm. good question. if I was offered a leftover New 2024 Nismo, I would like it to be below the MSRP of a 2024 Performance and/or less than what I paid for the first Z. I think you have the upper hand in negotiating the deal.

So to put a number to it, <$56,000 otd if they're willing? (13,000 or more off MSRP at minimum).

At this rate, I would only give it some thought though.

If you can get a 2024 Nismo, for 50k that’s a good deal. If you can get one for 45k, that’s a darn steal and I’ll take it in a heartbeat. I doubt no dealerships will sale you a brand new nismo for less than 45k anywhere in the states. Maybe later this year, after September. MAYBE
