I'll be going with Conti ECS 02 when my tires expire. One of the biggest reasons is weight! The ECS 02 is a sweet rotational mass loss of 26 lbs lighter than the Dunlops. My Apex VS5RS is already around 14lbs lighter than oem wheels and I'll be getting the 2 piece rotors that's 30 lbs lighter.

Continentals ECS02 were my go to on other cars but it looks like the Nismo Z is too heavy and the rears exceed the tire's max load. I double checked with Continental customer support and they said the same thing. Not sure how big of a deal load index is on tires but just something I came across.

Don't think if you jump onto some PS4S that they will save you, all tires have their limits. Like I've said before that crazy crash in Japan with a Z Nismo was on PS4S, so their not the holy grail either.
But indeed the GT600s in the wet and cold are dreadful to the point that I don't even know when I'll understeer or oversteer. But I did learn that in the wet if the temperature is above 19C they do grip way better than I expected.

I'll be jumping onto some AD09's when these GT600 are done, they have immense grip in the wet and are very good on track.
I'm anxious to hear how the AD09's are on the track. I happen to like the performance of the OEM 600's on the track. I even used them on wet, and I thought that they weren't that bad. However it was warm. I thought that they were at least as good as RE 71's that I ran on my other car, and probably about the same as the Cup2's. But nowhere near the MP4S (obviously). I'm considering the AD09's moving forward if they are about as good as the 600's in dry, as long as they are better in the wet.
Please keep us posted!

Should check out the new RE71RZ replacing the RS, which I stand by for dual duty road/track tires.

I'm debating AD09, oem Dunlop or Goodyear Supercar 3 in the next month. I also have been ok with the oem tires.

I loved my RE71RS’s, so I’m sure the RZ’s will be awesome (assuming they are an improvement on the RS’s)
However, they used to not have the Nismo sizes for the RS, and I wanted to stay with stock sizes. Do you know if the RZ’s come in the Nismo sizes?

RZs are still new, so can't be sure of Nismo Z sizing, best to ask Tire Rack....
