I have the full kit and have not had any issues with any of the sensors or safety features. I didn't create brackets for mine, we just used an extremely strong bonding agent to hold them in place. I did maintain the plastic housing on them all. Since I have the wide body I had to remove the washer reservoir. Mine is unplugged with no codes of any kind. Im curious how your tow hook shaft fits past the center brace. It looks like you may have used a reducer? My tow hook will not fit at all.

That's awesome to hear, I am pretty sure the sensors were down cause the plastic covers were removed due to hole size, but I just had them all turned off and coated the bumper, so not gon worry about that no more. I had cut through the center grill in order for the extending plate pole to fit through, the OEM bumper has a removable plastic cover while the LB one does not. So we improvised.

You can probably just use the Nismo washer reservoir since it's relocated for the aux radiator that is in front of the front wheel on the Nismo.

Here's a screenshot of the Nismo washer bottle location, as you can see it doesnt extend into the wheel well because a big radiator is located there on the Nismo:

For the bumper hood popper sensors, I wonder if we can measure the resistance and just plug in a resistor and be done with it. Apparently even if you eliminate the poppers if you hit a cone at autocross, or even drive over bumpy enough ground I've heard it can still trigger the hood popper sensors and require the dealer to reset them in the ECU.

on the "poppers", why doesn't anyone just drill out the contact area on the hood so if it's activated it hits nothing?

no hood damage/stuck in up position. no errors for removing them. has anyone tried this?

i understand there may be some slight safety issues to a person/animal that may be struck, but is it something that can be proven to actually matter?
