It’s quite possible it is heritage edition and that bumper is new heritage bumper. I just watched Japanese vid of some guy saying it’s a heritage edition based on the old Z with same green paint.

That's what I'm curious about - whether the new front end is for a "Heritage Edition" or for all non-NISMO models.

The front end is the model year facelift not just a heritage edition

In Japan there is supposed to be a heritage edition trim available for the first time as well when the car is available in the summer

I'll wait for the actual production version. Some times these auto shows has things on it that never make it to production.

For example, the Nismo front emblem indent might not be that big. This is using a current Nismo bumper with a new badge that is smaller.

Its just for show on what is to come. Fingers cross they make the Z front emblem for the Sport/Performance bumper šŸ¤žšŸ½

I can tell you why the front NISMO indent will 100% be a thing and its because the new facelifted bumper was designed with that new smaller ( same as quarter panel) badge in mind. because the NISMO has no design changes the bumper is carried over and the badge is retrofitted into that existing recess. its literally going to look like that because they arnt making a new bumper mold

so an easy swap out for NISMO owners will have to see for the standard Z owners

the facelift starts production in the spring with arrivals this summer

I read one of your articles on Facebook stating there was going to be a revised and a slight facelift on the Nismo front facia. Has that been updated and it was just for emblem itself being the only change?

I think I said or maybe meant to say the facelift is only for the non NISMO model in that article

but either way the NISMO is a total carry over in design except for the badge

here is some insight from the presentation about the 2027 Z

this is regarding the suspension changes to the standard Z

Z's suspension was updated to address feedback from early owners regarding "floatiness" at high speeds. The monotube dampers were retuned with new valving to provide a more composed ride. The goal was to reduce vertical "bouncing" on uneven roads while maintaining the car's grand touring comfort.
Nissan emphasized that the suspension changes work in conjunction with new Electronic Power Steering (EPS) software. This tuning provides more "on-center" feel and feedback, which Tamura-san noted is critical for the "dialogue" between the driver and the car.

I was just about to say "Hey, this explains why the Nismo Bumper has a crater!"

I love the new nose, this is the best refresh since the HR Z33 refresh. I like that Tan Interior way more than I should.

I'd buy a refreshed Midnight Purple w/ Tan Interior in a heartbeat.

does that include US. I’d order one in the spring if that was the case.

I believe so yes . the spring ordering was specifically announced for Japan but I know the release date is for summer is for here also. just not sure the window does that mean June or September? I think after this initial info we got last night I wouldnt expect much more until later into the spring.

I e been waiting for them to update the suspension. That and the new front bumper seals the deal for me.

Great news about suspension update. I was planing to get 2026 but I will wait for 2027, updated suspension may by the game changer but we need to see how it drives comparing to 2023/2026.
