So there’s something I’m rather disappointed in. The mirror caps plastic is very fragile. I came outside one day and saw dings in the mirror. I said to myself prior NO CARBON FIBER ON THE OUTSIDE, but I had to do it cover up the tiny dings in the mirror caps.

I am not a fan of carbon fiber really anywhere on a car. Just not my thing. But my mom's BMW X3 had the same issue yours did where the caps were busted and I got her some carbon fiber ones cause it was all I could find and it worked out good.

At least your Nismo is white and red with all the black accents a touch of CF does not look out place. I like it.

Thanks I had a bunch of CF on my Supra exterior and I hated it after a few weeks. You’re right that it works here and it isn’t a LOT OF ATTENTION CF

Carbon fiber parts do get really old. I would have gone with a matte finish on the carbon fiber to look more different than others.

I took a ride to the highest point in Massachusetts; Mount Greylock. I came up from Lanesborough, which is about 8 miles of narrow windy. The last few miles I was behind some less than adventurous motorcyclists, but most of the climb was a hoot with the paddle shifters.

Coming down the other side is steeper and has several hairpin turns to fool around with. It's fast enough to be fun but slow enough to have the windows open to enjoy the soundtrack. I hear the view is nice, too.

Nice. Are you on stock height?

I got 2.5K miles in two months of ownership and I don't even need to drive to work (less than one mile to work). I wonder if the Stillen bars make clunk noise. When I had the 350z the hotchkis bars I believe were hollow which caused clunking noises.

Stock ride height, I only put about 20 - 25 miles on the car since they were installed this morning but I was listening to see if there would be any squeaks from the bushings and there was no noise that I could detect so far.

Looks really good. Did you peel off the red stickers from the OEM mirrors and stick it onto the CF covers?
