So clean and shiny. I'm also in SoCal (SD) looking into tint and PPF/ceramic coatings next. How much did you pay for full wrap and do you recommend the shop? Did you do PPF+coating? What brand/type of material did you use?

I had my windows tinted at One of One. They also do PPF, which I didn't get. Instead, I had ceramic coating applied at CE detail, who also does PPF.

I was really happy with the results from both shops.

I recognize that skyline (no pun intended): Downtown San Diego from Coronado.
Yes sir. That is one great spot in town for car pics.

Buying new? The nissanusa.com inventory search tool should give you an idea of what's out there. Other tools like Autotrader can help as well.

New only. Any idea of what current prices are. I am fine to buy from another state and either drive it back or get it shipped, if the price difference justifies it

If you can swing it, get at least the sport trim, if only for the limited slip diff. The car spins tires so easily, that I imagine the sport makes it even harder to get traction down.

I'm also from CA and I paid 52973 OTD a month ago (sale price after $2500 Nissan customer cash (and a lot of negotiation was 50746). This was for a performance, 2-tone premium paint, 6-speed manual. I didn't research Sport models that much, but I'd expect that you can get one for around 10k less.

i used cargurus.,com. Searched nation wide. Found the exact car I wanted at the cheapest price I found. Paid 47 and change plus TT&L and $700 for delivery to my driveway. Two phone calls were made. First was to get a salesman. 2nd was with finance guy to confirm admin info like address etc. but everything else was text messages. They tried to sell me that dealerships premium protection package I told them no thanks.

Wondering if paying OTD of $53k for performance or going for a 2025 C8 LT2 trim, which seems to be discounted about $10,000.

LT2 all day if the price is right. I’ve owned 5 corvettes, and this is my first Z, and I’ll go back in a heartbeat for the right price. I’ve been putting it off because I hate the current interior with a passion, but allegedly the 26’s will have a redesign that gets rid of the ugly af switch panel along the center console.

Good move, I also searched across the US for a Boulder Performance red interior, most were east coast, but shipping was over $1k. Overall really glad found this Solid red/red locally at a great price. A road trip was my orig plan, to break it in, but schedule was tight.
