We are pleased to announce that beta EcuTek software for the 2023 Nissan Z platform has been successfully tested! The AMS Calibration Team has been hard at work with EcuTek Technologies Ltd engineers aiding in development of the newest software to allow for tuning of the new Nissan Z ECU. This new Z platform is similar to the 2021+ Infiniti VR30 ECU architecture which we previously collaborated with EcuTek on, which has jumpstarted development for the Z. We are proud of our history working directly with EcuTek to help implement, test, debug, and refine new RaceRom features and model year support to benefit the community, and look forward to working side by side with them for future updates.

Note that these power figures are a work in progress, and as the platform develops will likely change in the future. This particular test was done with a race exhaust and high octane race fuel to reduce the likelihood of detonation as we are working in a prototype environment.

lol. Tuned already.. I LOVE IT! So much for all the comments on Nissan locking their ECU..HA! Nissan doesn't have money for that kind of software...

Advertised Stock: 400/350
Recorded Stock Wheel(Savagegeese): 372whp/362wtq
Recorded Crank (~15%): 391hp/380tq

Tuned Wheel: 453whp/524wtq
Tuned Crank (~15%): 475hp/550tq

Gains (Wheel): +81whp/+162wtq
Gains (~Crank): +85hp/+170tq

That torque is crazy. Looks like AMS/ECUTek were able to moderately bypass the boost spike that Camissa mentioned in his review (can still see there's some throttling in 2.5k-4krpm for torque...maybe torque limited?). Powerband looks decently smooth.

Wonder what just Stock Tuned looks like on 93.

That is what I am wondering too cause the results on race gas really dont impress me. I have a feeling 93 is going to equal like 415whp/450wtq.

As long as the power/tq curve is smooth and something can be done about that boost spike that Camissa spoke about, I think having minimum ~400WHP/WTQ would make for a good daily/streetable car.

Looks promising, also want to see 93/91 output. Wonder if they see any heat mgmt issues between pulls.

Great power numbers from a tune, as expected. Very easy to extract power from a turbocar. And we knew this engine will give a great bump coming from the Infiniti.

Focus the rest of the money into the suspension with a super kit, sways, tires and pads. It will be costly to mod out, but that should make it better regardless to what many were hoping.

Also need to address the fuel cut/pick up issue at the tank, that's concerning. Other coolers TBD might be needed.

I was assuming they would fix that if Nissan didn't, as far as fuel cut goes. Unless it is fuel system, oil, or cooling related mechanically, then that will in fact become costly.

That’s actually pretty impressive. But that’s just with an exhaust, tune and E85?

Same here . Want to see numbers on 93 octane. I don’t have E85 in Canada

They said high octane race fuel, one of the comments mentioned 109
