Apparently this is from someone who works at a dealership in Cleveland. He posted on his Facebook page.

Interesting timeline! My intuition is that we are a bit further ahead than this schedule, though admittedly just as much in the dark.

Really going for the "Hey June is still technically spring" release if they get them out by the 21st approach huh? Unless this is to ensure a large number of cars available to meet demand, and thwart mark ups, well then I'm skeptical. I will be test driving a M240i in April, we'll see how it goes.

Nissan is dragging their feet unless they come out and say what I was hoping this strategy is.

Did anyone else hope the release would be in April/May? I live in Canada and that really only gives 3 months to enjoy the car as we get snow in September

As much as this timeline makes sense to me, I find it contradicting and intriguing that most of Nissan USA's social media comments/replies are stating that vehicles will be hitting showroom floors this spring.

Technically, Spring lasts through June 20th.

I have no idea how production runs are executed. But there are obviously cars running around and that have been spied on trailers etc. Whoever has an initial dealer allocation (confirmed order) should get a car June 1st if they are making them now. Two months for transport. You don't want to be releasing these cars in Canada as we head into winter next year. That will not be optimal for a launch and for customer feedback.

Z1s post was about parts officially having sku numbers or parts numbers. That doesn't necessarily state production started it was just an assumption.
