Z1 Diverter Valve to Blow Off Valve Conversion Kit

I believe Turbosmart has both vent to air and diverted setups. The diverted setup is plumbed like OEM. What I’ve seen/heard from many sources, as @Midz10 said above, “VR30s don’t like VTA BOVs.”

It's not VR30 thing. Its any car tuned on MAF. You're dumping calculated air outside the system. I think I read that EcuTek will release an update with speed density support.

There is a lot of conflicting information about BOV's on this car.

I have built a few turbo cars in the past and as stated tuning was the key to get BOV's to work properly.

I have asked Z1 about their kit that they sell and they told me that they do not recommend them without a tune. Thats pretty obvious but I never seen it stated on their website.

I have heard of another kit coming out that I believe they said had no tuning and was running good with the HKS BOV's.

I have even asked one of the popular tuners and they said they don't recommend them cause they can leak...LOL
Yeah they can, I ran throw a lot of Greddy RS's BOV years ago that would always leak. But never had an issue with the HKS.
But never said anything about them being bad or anything.
