Why do you prefer the Z?

300zx was so cool in the 90s. Man, that’s what got me for this car.
i remember seeing one for the first time in a six flags parking lot. i had my gf (wife now) take a pic of me next to to it...we were kids 😂

I tested drive the 300z in 1996 during a light mist of rain on a backroad and ended up in a ditch because the slippery surface at a slight turn, in the end I went with the supra but always has a thing for the 300z' look, yes the look of z now appealing to me because of this nostalgia for sure.
please tell me you still have the supra...

another thing that is huge to me is its jdm origin. being a huge supra fan (have owned 3, currently have a '95) this one of the reasons i didn't go with the zupr4...it's german/austrian built.

yeah, yeah i know toyota designed the skin and tweaked it a bit, but it's not built in japan nor will it have that quality or reliability.

I sold Nissans when the Z32 came out. I absorbed that car, and would give a client a test drive which curled their toes.

Years later I bought a one-owner Z31 and it was nice. After a 14 year relationship with the MR2 Spyder, and then a Lexus 430 and MGB, I decided to use one car...and then thought of my sales experience.

Found a one-owner, adult owned Z32, did a mechanical restoration and smile on the inside everytime I turn the key.

I put a Z32 that wasn't mine in a ditch too! Fortunately, didn't hurt it, wasn't much of a ditch, and the car came to a rest about 6" from barbed wire livestock fence. I was young, used to fwd cars, and went around a corner then got on the gas just a bit too early....

I had always owned 60's and 70's muscle cars until I bought a '78 280Z in the mid-80's. I traded a '70 El Camino for it.

In my 40+ years of driving, that Z was the most fun to drive car I've ever owned. I'm hoping the new Z will meet or exceed that experience.

that's a thing with the 300z, tail wagging a little too out of control, one of the reason i went with the supra mk4.
what kind of tires were on it?
hopefully not what will be on the new Z 😂
