Hello fellow Z fam. I am hoping to purchase an exhaust for my new Z within the next two weeks. It’s nearly summer over here in the Northwest so I’ll be adding some miles to my Z. Which brand did you go with? Why exactly? Pros? Cons? I’m somewhat new to cars, had a 370z Nismo prior but never did any modifications to it. If you can help a brother out with some information I’d highly appreciate it.
Thank you all.

I went with the AWE Touring exhaust with black tips. I'm happy with it. I'd also suggest pairing with a cold air intake. I went with a K&N CAI. The CAI does slightly increase the exhaust sound, but it also breathes significantly better than the OEM air filters. You'll hear much more induction sound and the "psshh" from the OE diverter valves. The best part of the AWE exhaust is that if you want a louder exhaust, you can purchase the track pipes that replace the mufflers.

I went with the remark single exit. These engines aren't the best sounding and the single exit makes it sound the closest to a classic jdm sound in my opinion.

I was looking at that specific exhaust. It’s pretty affordable compared to others. How much louder is it compared to the stock exhaust?? That intake is awesome, although I live in Oregon which we go by California laws…: not sure how I’ll do when it comes to emissions.

That is clean! What model is that?! I prefer something close to jdm but they want an arm for it… to much $$$

I haven't measured the difference with a decibel reader, but I would say it's ~15-20% louder than the original equipment (OE). It has a nicer, deeper tone than OE. If you're interested, another forum member is selling his AWE.

I saw that, however they’re only selling it for pick up only. AWE is nice, and from the looks of it, it’s got good reputation
My bad for missing that detail. I got my exhaust from Z1. Good luck on picking an exhaust!

The AWE Touring Edition does not have mufflers, it has dual 180Tech resonators in the rear as well as midpipe bullet resonators. This exhaust comes equipped with an x-pipe to further refine the exhaust note and keep things clean, aggressive, and slightly exotic. Here are some photos for reference:

That’s awesome. I am leaving so far towards you guys. I heard there’s a special discount for first responders?
