So I know this might not be big news in comparison to what’s going on in the world to you guys….but I’m celebrating!
Finally West Australians will no longer be forced to wear masks indoors, kids can go to school without masks, we can travel in our own country without permission or a boarder pass, and no longer have to isolate if we are a close contact (but still need to test daily), no need to show vax status in public settings, and hospitality industry is permitted to once again operate at 100% capacity…it seems at last we are rejoining the rest of the world
Last thing that remains is mandatory vaccination to work in 75% of industries…which really makes no sense. You can go to a pub if you are not vaccinated now…but you can’t work there if you are not?‍♀
hey welcome back to the real world

I think largely due to "go woke, go broke". The contents are woke stuff (e.g. Dear White People) and exposed activists that exist inside the company (e.g. group of hissyfit ppl showing their true allegiance to identify politic after the last Dave Chappelle special).
We cancelled Netflix largely due to them being "woke" but it was easy to cancel as they are relatively expensive, have lost much of the "good" content. But, I stumbled upon "Bridgerton" one day and immediately cancelled Netflix on the spot because that was it.

We're about to cancel Disney+ once we get through Obi Wan.

For the most part, I buy gently used Blu-rays online for the older content I like, for the newer stuff we'll pay for one or two months of a streaming service to binge.

I'll be back to Netflix for Peaky Blinders. And Disney+ is gone after we finish Obi Wan.

Those companies can consider my temporary, intermittent membership and veiwing habits as a sign that I don't like the majority of their content.
