Welp…
I stand by my previous comments.

I’m adopting @KrackaC8ā€˜s stance about the importance logging your anal maintenance … or maintaining your logs anally … idk, something about anal logs.

Anyway, I get home and prepare to file my paperwork, and take a look.
ā€œCUSTOMER REQUESTED BRAKE FLUID CHANGEā€¦ā€
After all that, and spending $118 on something I neither asked for nor needed, my diff oil still has not been changed.

Wow…
Well... Although an easy DIY, a full brake fluid flush job for $118 is a decent price. Hopefully they used DOT4.

First of all, read all the posts including analog something or other and WOW. My dealer only loads my Z on the alignment rack because the regular lifts don’t go low enough…according to them.
He made some comment about it being really low. Decided not to tell him the next time he saw it it would be at least an inch lower. I didn’t realize a stock Z wouldn’t work on a normal rack.

No decision on brake fluid yet, but I did snag a pressurized brake fluid kit not too long ago. I guess it’ll just have to wait a little longer.

Yeah, hopefully it’s not GL5 80w-90. Or washer fluid.

Add Gainesville Nissan to your avoid at all costs list. For my first oil change: the tech stalled the car five times (that I could see) reving and dropping the clutch to get the car around the corner into the service center: I was done. When I realized that I was jeopardizing my car's health by letting this fool dealer touch it, I was like "screw this warranty" DP's and tune is back on the menu boyz!
Spoke with a guy the other day from Clearwater and I brought up Lokey Nissan. Tried to score a black NISMO they had, and had had for a while. Wouldn’t deal at all. He said, ā€œthey’re known to be the worst.ā€ I wonder if it’s a Nissan thing, or every dealership is like that. Only dealt with Nissan since 2003.

He also has a ā€˜22 GR Supra. He said he’s always been a fan of ā€˜Toyota.’ I kept my mouth shut about that one.

Wow…
Any chance that's a typo and they really changed the diff fluid like you asked?

No, I saw him doing the brake fluid. I thought it was odd, but didn’t question it, just put it down to maybe I didnt know that was part of the ā€œ10K service.ā€
I didn’t watch the whole time. But I assume he didn’t do anything with the diff that wasn’t in the 10k…inspection, maybe.

Part of that package was tire rotation. $35. I understand how things work, but the paperwork was itemized. If you’re not even doing something, don’t charge for it.

I hole punched it and put it in the binder so I wouldn’t be tempted to look at it again.

Also realized at dinner I left my water bottle and an oil filter there (bought separately for my home 15k change). Going to hold off on completing their survey until I pick that stuff up :cautious:
It was a 65F1E. I think the B’s are out of normal distribution, in the US anyway. No fault to those that do, but I don’t really care about the JDM ā€œBā€œ vs E thing. Viva Mexico! šŸ‡²šŸ‡½
