If the Z is either to rare and or expensive maybe a used Supra? By the time the Z comes out we might see some used 3.0 in the $40k range. I wouldn't say no to one with 10-15k on the odometer that is still under the warranty.
before covid there were used one with around 5,000 miles being listed for $42k+. prices only started really skyrocketing in mid 2020. i truly believe if it had not been for the pandemic that we could have seen Supras in the mid to high $30s in 2022.If the Z is either to rare and or expensive maybe a used Supra? Yea I passed on a used one for 46k because I thought it was too high at the time.. now people would kill for that price.before covid there were used one with around 5,000 miles being listed for $42k+. prices only started really skyrocketing in mid 2020. i truly believe if it had not been for the pandemic that we could have seen Supras in the mid to high $30s in 2022.
right lol. there was a guy that drove one for around 6 months and because of the prices of used cars rising he actually broke even when he got rid of it.Yea I passed on a used one for 46k because I thought it was too high at the time.. now people would kill for that price.
i've almost pulled the trigger on a couple gtst's in the past, but knowing me, i wouldnt be satisfied unless it was a gtr. i'm mainly looking at r32's, but the right setup on a 33 is on the radar.... the next 3 on the list would be fun. I had to look up VehiCross to remember what it was Growing up we had a Trooper and a P'up, but those are the only Isuzu's I've ever been in or driven. I'd love any of the R32-R34 GT-R's, but at this point I'd even settle for a GTS-t just to own one.
I hear that. Ideally I'd want a R33 GT-R since R34's are going to be pretty much unobtainable for any reasonable amount of money by the time they make it here for practical use in a few years. Always had a thing for S15's as well since my first car was a S13. Would love to own a Spec-R.i've almost pulled the trigger on a couple gtst's in the past, but knowing me, i wouldnt be satisfied unless it was a gtr. i'm mainly looking at r32's, but the right setup on a 33 is on the radar.
between me, my brother, fam and dad we've owned 4 eclipses'. only one i really remember having a lot of issues was my brothers. he bought a highly modded 96 with a lot of miles then drove it like he stole it.yeah, the Mk8 R is in the back of my mind as well. Still bullish on the Z, but trying to make a mental list of other vehicles to check out juuust in case. Swung by a VW dealership today to ask timing, and he said they were originally told October but with chips, etc. he's unsure.
I loooooove SW20 MR2's, haven't thought about 2G GSX's in forever but last I recall, they're crazy unreliable?
And I don't think you need to ask anyone's opinion on the R32, lol.
what's your price limit on the z? as you prob know it seems the base model has jumped from $35k to 'around $40k'.My decision depends on final price, but if it ends up being too much for the top trim I'm going to look for a 6th gen Camaro SS 1LE. Reason is this 1LE trim is track ready, one of the best chassis on the market, and looks aggressive over the standard Camaro. 3 years after the Z comes out I'll look at how the Z is depreciating and see if it's at more reasonable price.
I'll keep my G37xS as a daily driver.
My price limit was $40K for the Z, but I don't want the sport trim, since it's missing things I find important in a sports car.what's your price limit on the z? as you prob know it seems the base model has jumped from $35k to 'around $40k'.
the camaro sounds interesting...i looked at them back in 2014 when my wife was trying to decide between that and mustang.
But it’s more a muscle car than a sports car no?My price limit was $40K for the Z, but I don't want the sport trim, since it's missing things I find important in a sports car.
It wasn't until I watched this Motor Trend video review on the Camaro 1LE which made me a believer. These are going for $40K used, but once the market stabalizes they should go back to low to mid $30K.
I'd say the past Camaros were trending more towards muscle, but the 6th gen is a sportcar. But it’s more a muscle car than a sports car no?
was re-reading thread and saw this.
Picked this up instead o f the Z. Love the Z but didnt want to wait. Still not ruling out the Z in the future. Now i have this, maybe i can wait for the be patient and wait for the Nismo Z
