Ever since I saw this, what I call a grill splitter, I really like it and felt it completes the front grill redesign as intended - drawing influence from the 240-280Z grills. I purchased a 280 way back in the day (when they had more inventory than they have today) and loved that design and the car. I thought I would post and open it up for discussion - am I the only one who loves the custom grill splitter as pictured below rather than the painted grill they are using today?

You're not the only one. I like it, too.

Although I'm still not a fan of the trapezoidal lower opening, it looks much better than the upcoming Nismo. It retains the scooped headlights and flows better with the rest of the car.

I think it's sort of a sidegrade to the current one. I do like it for sure but I'm not sure it's better than the current design. At first I thought the simple rectangle mouth was too plain but living with it for a few months it's growing on me. I do like the split grill and would love to see it on a non orange Z as I think that's what is skewing my opinion on it just a bit

Personally I prefer the grill splitter on the orange Z. I've owned a 260Z and a 280Z and love the nostalgic vibe it gives off. I like to keep my sports cars all original and usually don't do any mods. But if this front bumper became available in the US, I'd consider adding it to my Z.

I think the two-tone square grill of the '23 Z looks a little more aggressive, and the splitter on the orange looks a little more chill.

I'd probably get fewer speeding tickets with the splitter.

Great! Boy, I wish we could get one here in the US. Thanks
