thats what i was afraid of...they were too conservative...again...

so much for the new aggressive styling...

the wrx is getting alot if negitive feedback because of the 'black plastic cladding'. the last few videos i've watched have mentioned this...maybe this will give subaru time to fix it.

this car is slightly still in the running as my dd depending on the z reveal...
Yes! I wanted the new STI as my daily. This is such bullshit, however, if they're just making this excuse to get rid of the black plastic cladding, that is very much both welcomed and hilarious.

I wonder if the plastic cladding is on the wrx, but the STI version will have them painted?

Sorry, to clarify the above, you still need to go to Subaru's website to see the new teaser, which is simply an extended version of the original that gives us a few more glances at the car.

Thinking about it, plastic cladding makes sense on a legit rally car. But the WRX, and even more so the STi, have become more street-track cars rather than rally cars over the years. With that said, maybe the cladding will look good? Maybe it's just an "off-road" package? We'll see.
