I’ve done quite a bit of searching and haven’t found anything on sport trim brake pads.

My Z is a daily driver, the amount of brake dust is crazy. Anyone know of a good dustless brake pad?

Thanks

Low dust = lower performance. Carbotech makes high end race pads. The 1521 is their street pad.

CARBOTECH 1521
The Carbotech™ 1521™ is our high-performance street compound. The 1521™ compound is known for its release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. 1521™ is also a very low dusting and low noise compound with an excellent initial bite. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotech™ 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800°F (426°C+). 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotech™ 1521™ is NOT recommended for ANY track use.

Thank you. I like to drive in the mountains but don’t do it every weekend and don’t push it then. I appreciate it.

The standard answer for low-dust pads: Dixcel M Type, perfect for daily driving.

For track days, you may use their Z Type. But it's recommended to replace harder rotors as well, as the Z-type pads will eat OEM rotors very fast.

Thanks. I’ll check them out. Brake pads get pretty pricy!
