Interesting tidbit I had to figure out about the tow hook. I have a heritage with the different style front bumper. The tow hook goes in a threaded block behind the grill on the passenger side of the car. You can't get the tow hook through the grill. However, looking closely, I discovered there is a little removable section of the grill that snaps out where the tow hook goes. Works like a charm.
Of course the manual has nothing on this, but how did you remove the little grille section, just by a small screwdriver or flat tool, snaps off?

It's been awhile since I did it, but don't remember using any tools. You should be able to do it by hand. Remember, when you are going to need to do this typically you will be stranded on the side of the road and probably won't have any tools. So it should be designed for that.
