Rim protectors

I curbed another rim yesterday (stupid mistake, cut a turn to tight/short). I've seen the Rimblade protectors and some others with mixed reviews. Does anyone have experience with these and some recommendations? Other than "don't curb your rims" because that's a given but sometimes I get lucky like yesterday ?

No personal experience with these, but work with a guy that runs them on a Tesla and he likes them and hasn't had any issues.

Went with these from Amazon. One piece, so no seams. Follow instructions to clean and use the adhesive primer to get a very good bond. I’m happy with them and they come in different colors.
