Curbed my rim pretty badly on my boulder gray Z some time ago. Its not as visible now but its there and it sucks everytime i look at it. So im thinking of repainting all 4 rims later on this year. Any colour suggestions? Car body is boulder gray and calipers are yellow proto spec. Im thinking a light ish bronze.

The black rims look good on the boulder gray nismo, even though I'm not a fan of black rims. The bronze might look good,

I would powder coat over paint. I've done both and powder coat holds up much better and I drive a lot. Apex makes this Motorsports Gold I ove and I think would offset Grey nice. Also, Grey on Grey would be HOT.

Apex used my Z for their ads and website for their new line of wheels for Japanese cars. Here is their photo used on their website. Looks good, but I am going another route. Will post here when I can.

Was going to go with those in anthracite then change my mind to ML's. Love yours saw them on site. Happy with APEX?

I don't actually have Apex wheels on my car. They just used my Z for their photo shoot. (A neighbor who works for Apex happened to be walking by my house last year and saw my new Z. He left a message on my front door asking if Apex could use my Z for their website ad. It was a fun day, got lots of photos of my Z.)

They have offered me a discount on their wheels but I decided to get the OEM wheels powder coated to match the katana blade on the car. And to match the polished aluminum wheels on my blue 240Z. The bronze wheels are not "bright" enough for my personal taste.

I have added a couple of more photos with the bronze wheels for you below.

OEM wheels powder coated in "polished aluminum" (will try to get better photo when the sun comes out.)

Why I went to the aluminum color. I like that look better against the blue. (still have this 240Z)

Light bronze in your Boulder Gray would look sick.

Finally got a little sunshine and here is a pix of my powdercoated OEM wheels. I have ordered a set of blue, and another set of red Z" center caps to go with either the blue car or the red brake calipers. (from a fellow on the Facebook New Nissan Z page who 3d prints them to order. )

Dude, YES!

The black wheels trend has been killing me, I've been wanting to see the Performance wheels in a more traditional color, and I love it!
