I'm considering having some padding/leather added to my 2025 Performance door armrests. Does anyone know if the part that's circled in this pic is attached with clips and would pop off if I gently pry it with a trim tool? I haven't been able to find any detailed videos or such yet except for older Z's and I didn't want to start prying and hope for the best. I did see some posts about removing the whole door panel, but it looks like this piece might come off by itself so I wouldn't have to ship in that big of a piece.

If Gemini is right, this piece is held on with some screws and "heat stakes" from the back of the panel. I guess that's good that it wouldn't just pop off with enough pressure.

Here you go- There’s a 10mm bolt holding the handle you circled on. You will need to pop some plastic covers (behind handle finisher- to get to a 10mm bolt) , so you need plastic pry tools. Watch this first, it should be very similar:
Nissan Door Card Removal

Once you get the door card off, you put the door card on a clean towel on a table. Then there are at least 2 x 10mm bolts holding the handle to the door card. Be careful & good luck.

Maybe @Mugzilla or someone who has replaced speakers… can comment with any other tricks or has pics they can share.

Thanks, I found that vid for the Nissan Kicks and wasn't sure how similar the screws and such are on the Z door. I have some plastic trim tools, but hard to know exactly where some of those easily-broken small plastic tabs are to know where best to carefully push/pry!

Going to carefully work on it as I need to fix a clip or two for the door card anyway that I popped out when I was getting out recently and accidentally pulled on that vent on the door edge.

They’re all much the same… I couldn’t find an FSM with pics. Maybe @Mugzilla or someone who has replaced speakers… can comment with any other tricks (or has pics) they can share.

No woman, NO PRY!
It looks like it’s held on with a crap-ton of screws. Dont see any staking (melted plastic), but it could be there somewhere. Maybe adhesive somewhere too.
To me, it looks like it could be removed (from the back!) upholstered and reinstalled.

This eBay listing has pics. Stuck a couple below for reference.

Thanks for that! Very helpful, i was trying to go through some of Nissan's parts catalogs but their diagrams are hard to read. I didn't think about checking for parts on ebay, etc
