The perfect car ... and a bargain at just under US$4million. ;)
(I get an error when trying to go to the dealer's website, but maybe it's blocking non-Americans.)

It's got 11,203 miles on the clock, but it was never titled, so you could be the very first owner.

In fairness to the Altima, it made the list because first gen CVTs were really only suitable for go karts (if that), and they were total rust buckets. Their egines were otherwise solid. The rest of the cars on that list, however, each had a plethora of issues.

The Altima has come a long way, and I'd totally take an Altima over a Camry/Accord at present.

If passed, six cities will participate in the program's effort to stop noise pollution.
Already doing that here in NY. I for one welcome this if it means less of those shitbox BMWs with absurd burble tunes.

How A Jeep Customer Was Sued After Dealer’s Teen Mechanic Accidentally Killed Coworker During Oil Change

https://www.carscoops.com/2022/05/m...accidentally-kills-coworker-with-manual-jeep/
An explanation for those unfamiliar with the laws in question:

Many states have laws in place that prohibit employees (or their families) from suing their employer for on the job injures (some states have exceptions for grave injuries or death, in which case, you can sue your employer. However, it doesn't appear that Michigan has this exception). The reason for these laws is due to Workers' Compensation. It would be redundant for a claimant to be compensated from Comp for his injuries AND sue his employer for additional compensation since the employer is paying into the comp board.

In addition, Michigan also has a law prohibiting you from suing a dealership for any injuries/damage resulting from operation of your car if you gave their dealer techs permission to
work on your car.

So, the victim's family's only real option here was to sue the car's owner (although I would have sued the coworker as an individual as well). The car's owner isn't totally screwed though. If his attorney knows what he/she is doing, they should implead the dealer and tech - meaning starting a third party action against the dealer and tech which in essence passes the buck along to them. What this means in practice is that the dealer and/or tech would then ultimately be made reaponsible for anything the car's owner has to pay to the victim's family.
