I don’t see anything to worry me about the Zs production in this. Nissan was back at it the next day assembling. The fact only 1 person was even hurt at the chip plants seems to suggest damage was not sever, two out of the three are back online and the third could just be waiting for power …I’d say a week or two at most in terms of pushing things out.
Having said that Earthquakes have a habit of having after shocks…let’s hope that they are not too bad, and most importantly that the people of Japan stay safe

Let's hope US Nissan dealerships don't hear about that
Thing is with everything going up because of covid and the war, if you ask me Dealers holding off is a stupid move….why?
Because in 6 months time many buyers may no longer have the money to buy a new car, or may just feel in the current climate that it’s a risk not worth taking …electricity water food etc has to come first.
so dealers would be smart to sell as much as they can now before even harder times fall
