Racebox Z on the 1/8th mile!

Took the Z to Import Face-Off Houston this weekend, such a blast launching this car down a track again!
Unfortunately I think we found the limits of the stock base model open diff…

But hey, that's what we have this car for! We break things so you don't have to.
Car cut a 1.50 60ft wheel hopping fighting for dear life, and the diff started making funny noises after that.

Next up is upgrading to the Perfomance LSD. For now, not a bad 1/8th mile run for a stock turbo Z on pump E85, maybe we’ll take it out to a 1/4 mile track before the bigger turbos go in.

Officially, if we want to get technical, the base model open diff survived two runs before upgrades. You can read the details here:

Highly recommend upgrading to a better option for our base model fellas who plan to get out on the strip -when they are more readily available.
