Greetings Z fam, just wondering if anyone has applied a clear bra/paint protection film on their Z? Or is it really necessary? I am looking to apply this to my Z because, when I used to own a 370z, the front hood would easily get damaged by rocks and who knows what else.
I also am looking into tinting my windows, so far looking at applying Huper Optik I3. Curious if anyone as added any of these features is so, tell me about it! If not feel free to share suggestions/recommendations.

Thanks Z fam.

Yes, PPF is worth it! My 370z had a full front PPF. Having to get paint work done often to fix imperfections can get very costly. I just bought a new Z last weekend and I took it in for PPF and window tint right away.

Nice! If you don’t mind me asking how much you pay?? , I got a pretty legit place in my area that is charging me just under 1500.00. That includes full hood, full fenders, bumper, mirrors, door caps and door edge. Is that too much???

I get my PPF done at Ceramic Pro. They are well known. Cost around $2100. They use good quality PPF and the PPF is guaranteed on the car as long as you own it. I wouldn't trust just any one for PPF, make sure they will replace it if you have any trouble with discoloration or defects.

That’s pricey! Yeah Highline Customs out here in Oregon is doing mine. Did you also tint your windows?

Yes, I'm having them tint windows also. Ceramic Pro is medium priced. I trust their work. When I dropped off my car on Monday they were putting PPF on a GT3 RS. So, I assume they can be trusted.

What percentage you doing your windshield?! I’m thinking 70% which is pretty clear. Im afraid if I go darker, it will be harder to see at night.

I'm just going for a strip across the windshield for now. I might do something later. I'm in the same situation, I can't see good enough at night. I did go with 20% on everything else.

I regret not getting PPF. Paint seems thin, and the front bumper plastic is soft. Good excuse to get a wrap eventually.

Also went through the summer without tint. That back window really lets in a lot of heat. Got it put in this winter and it still feels luxurious. Even got clear ceramic on the front so am excited to feel how that performs in a couple months.

I decided to go 15% on the driver, passenger, and rear window. The front windshield I’m going 70%. It’s still going to be pretty clear, but I rather see at night. The Z already has such limited views.

Yoo! What percentage did you go with?! Did you do all of the windows?

Picked up the Z today from having the PPF and window tint done. I'm still breaking in the car; only got 74 miles on it. So far.

r I'm impressed with the transmission in sport + mode, just trying to be patient during this break in thing. I haven't went over 4k RPM yet.
