Picked up the Z today from having the PPF and window tint done. I'm still breaking in the car; only got 74 miles on it. So far.

r I'm impressed with the transmission in sport + mode, just trying to be patient during this break in thing. I haven't went over 4k RPM yet.
Dang she is a beauty!!! Looks phenomenal!! No wonder you paid a good penny for it.

Yeah, I'll have to let the tint and PPF cure a few days and then bring it back so they can check everything over incase they need to tuck any edges. Usually takes a couple of trips.

Absolutely! You just did 2 of the best mods one could do for a new car. Looks like they did a great job on your Z. What % did you do on the windshield? I did a strip for now, thinking of going possibly 35% later.

I went 15% on everything other than the front windshield. I went 70% on that. It looks pretty clear, but I think it’s perfect. Anything more would be way too dark at night to see. The Z already is low enough and restricts some vision. I applied Huper Optic I3. Best of the best.

I had paint protection film applied to the full front end of my new Z—bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors. I had similar issues with my old 370z, so I wasn’t taking chances this time. I went with XPEL and it’s been flawless. Virtually invisible and holding up great against road debris.

So worth every penny. Yeah is it pricey, sure, but at the end of it all it definitely defends your car from rocks and other crap.
