Looks like he got instant karma, though - his win was forfeit when he got assigned a 40 second penalty for touching the car in pits and as a result was dropped to 13th. Righteous.

Yep, good thing that was noticed and totally deserved it! On to the next round ? I'm just way relieved the Z driver even walked away from that crash, good thing the chassis keeps spinning, distributes the crash impact. Amazing safety build on those Nissans really, being first year out!
