Couple shots and a quick vid clip of newly installed kit. It's exactly what I was looking for; a non-obnoxious, deep, mellow 'purrrr'' when cruising, but gets tastefully and progressively more aggressive sounding as the driving does.

Sounds clean!! Why did you go with this specific exhaust out of all the other competitors if you don’t mind sharing. There’s soo many options, been eyeing borla, awe, stillen, etc. Just not sure where to go with or what…. Difficult decisions..

This may not be the smartest way to select an exhaust lol, but for me the field of options was quickly narrowed down based on the aesthetic of tips. Seriously, it was the 5" carbon fiber slash tips that got me most interested in this kit. They fill out the exhaust notches in rear skirt a bit better IMO than smaller diameter tips I've seen on market, and I really dig the notched/slashed carbon fiber heat shields on them. They are subtler than the more flashy polished or burnt chrome that can be found on many Z exhaust kits. From there it was just a matter of listening to other owners' sound clips like the one I posted here and reading their reviews, of which I found quite a few praising the MBRP while describing what I was looking for/not looking for.

Sounds great. Is there any drone on the highway between 2000 and 3000 rpms?
Haven't spent any highway time yet to really know for sure, but I'm not noticing anything on the few short runs I've made so far. Because I'm a big music/audio guy, I did a lot of interior sound treatments when I was prepping for the sound system I built for this Z (detailed in another thread here on forum), so if there does happen to be any droning then all that treatment is likely suppressing it.

This is my set up too. I really spent time looking for an exhaust that didn't sound noisy. It turns on with your driving. No drone at highway speeds.
