Well one bit of good news, they have kept the EXEDY clutch, I liked that on my 370Z test drive last year.

LSD only on Performance trim
This sucks, makes the Sport model a no-go for me, unfortunately. Clutch Type though, which is better than Nissan's old Viscous garbage lol.

Gear ratios look decent, 3.583 FD tho so we'll see how she revs. Motor is unchanged from the Q60, so that's an interesting note.

Overall, it really does look like a car I'll have to really drive to get an idea of it. Specs don't really tell much at this point.

Same here. Really glad they dumped the viscous, I remember seeing a Nismo video review (Fifth Gear?) in which the inside rear was spinning away like it had no LSD at all.

I do wonder if the square tire setup on the base car will give more neutral handling, and the Performance with its 275 rears will have a lot of understeer. I hope Nissan has adjusted for the tire differences by tuning the suspension differently on the Performance.

Joe mentioned two interesting things in this video;
1) @ 11:46: 0-60 Nissan was able to shave 15% off this time than the outgoing 370Z. Can someone bring up Nissan's official 370z 0-60 time as reference?
2) @ 14:26: Price expected to start around $38,000 for (base) trim.

We'll need to have these confirmed.. I follow Joe's channel on youtube and he doesn't typically make any baseless claim about new cars when he covers reveals.

So that will be about 43,000 CAD i would estimate - Nissan doesn't chargethe full-fat exchange rate on the Z, we get it at a bit of a discount in Canada. I would guess the performance will be another $7k on top of that. About $15 more than a loaded BRZ/GR86. Can't wait for reviews.
