Yeah, I am cheap. But for $38 I couldn't pass on them. All hardware and bracketry matches the much more expensive brand, likely some of the normal chinese homage (IP theft). Regardless, took 10 minutes to install, and now I can just open my hood without fishing for a craptastic prop rod. We'll see how long they last. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F1LVPYS4?r

I bought these in Orange Carbon Fiber (not worth the $20 upcharge, go with black). Same experience and now it's wait and see how they hold up. So far so good. Mine were missing lock washers, but there are more than a few of those in bins around here. It looks like we installed the brackets on the hood in different orientations. They weren't marked L or R.
