New Z will do wonders with this powerplant's performance, but the chassis, tires, and brakes better be tuned to match on the get go. Let's see what the weight distribution will be, pretty critical for chassis tuning.

Even if the Genesis would have won hands down, I'd still take the Infinity. My friends, family members, and coworkers have all had bad experiences with Korean cars. They just don't hold up in the long run due to quality/design issues. I will gladly go to my grave having never owned one.
A buddy of mine had 3 different 3.8 Genesis before he gave up on them and got a GT350. They all had pretty major issues. He sold the 350 recently and just picked up a Model 3 lol.

Hyundai/Kia seems to have come a long way since I was a kid, but I'll never buy one. When I'm craving something Korean it's BBQ.

I still think they're junk cars. Have you seen how many of them have caught on fire? lol

Infiniti Q60 Coupe Reportedly Being Retired In 2023 <-- NOT announced by Nissan/Infiniti... just an article in Motor1 for whatever that is worth.

With Nissan's recent defense of the Skyline, it could b e that the Q50/Skyline will be kept and the Q60 will die.... TBD.

I would add when would the Q50/Skyline get the new 9-speed automatic? That would be a big improvement to that car, as would a new interior to get rid of the goofy and poorly functional dual-screen center dash.

I had a G35 6 speed and loved it but sadly the Q60 coupe just hasn't sold very well so not surprised. Many coupes and sedans are disappearing…

They haven't refreshed it since it came out. What did they expect. The coupes from other automakers have been updated.

Small wonder.. Infiniti was rudderless for so long, even with incompetent leaders such as De Nysschen .
