I'm not in the market for a NISMO Z but if anyone else is, what a deal

It's a defect in the bumper itself. I have the same bubble on the driver's side, and I don't have PPF. It's probably due to something with the mold when they make the bumper. It's hard to capture in a photo, so I attached a photo of me pointing at it. Mine isn't on the crease like yours, but slightly above it. It's hard to see in the pic, but it bubbles up a little, and in person, it looks like your exact defect.

Wow…wonder if anyone else is having the same issue? Have you mentioned it to the dealer?

I had my side skirt recently replaced by my dealer due to damage during service and jacked the repaint up so am going to bring it up when I take in for correction.

I didn't bother mentioning it. It's very minor, and he only option to fix it would be a repaint. I would much rather have the slight defect than an aftermarket paint job.
Plus, now that I know it's not only mine, probably most others have a similar issue. It will be one way to know that the car has OEM paint, lol

2025 Nismo owner. Next time I wash & ceramic wax I’ll look carefully around the front bumper area. I’ve not seen anything, but the car is only 6mo old (new). You’ve reminded me I still need to do front end PPF. At least bumper and 1/2 hood. It’s expensive, but these cars pick up front end rock chips as they age.

Totally agree about *not* letting a dealer do a respray for such minor flaws. I did collision repair for 5yrs in a past life. They farm it out to the cheapest (but still competent) shop. You would never get a factory result. 🥸

As comparison, I paid $1800 for Xpel full front end PPF including lights, mirrors and lower rear quarter kick panels, here locally. I think worth it in the long run, Nissan paint has not been that durable. Most exposed areas first, I may add the black roof leading edge or full later.

Unfortunately my OCD doesn't allow me to gloss over them when I'm cleaning the front end...lol. If it does turn out to be a defect in the mold then the only way to truly fix it is to replace the bumper and as I'm sure we're all aware that comes with all sorts of paint matching issues. Although my dealerships paint guy out here out in Oahu is legit. The full replacement/respray of my driverside rocker was spot on original paint (stealth gray).
