Great deal, as long as they don’t tack on a bunch of dealer add on fees. The best color combo in my opinion.
I've used this dealer before, they're def legit and don't badger you with bs

That's very close to the deal I got on mine, and yes, they tried to tack on their fees but I stayed firm and didn't pay them. I had already decided I would walk if it came to that.

Left Japan in June 2024, so they’ve been staring at it a while, August maybe. And that’s with the $1,300 premium paint. Would be $52,500 if it was black. Could be legit, but I assume the dealer’s got something to pad that somewhere. They all do, but some are worse than others.

Not sure if the wait would have been worth the 3k in savings for me. I mean that is a nice chunk of change for car parts, but my Nismo is like crack…really, not really lol.

Speaking of Nismo’s….to those owners. Recently noticed what appears to be bubbling under the PPF on the front bumper. was never there before, and oddly it’s almost in the same location on the other side of the bumper. I don’t think it’s a defect in the bumper itself, but be curious to hear anyone’s thoughts on the matter.

Apologies if this is the wrong thread, but hoping to catch the eye of all the Nismo owners. Thanks!

Do you know it’s bubbles? You can smush them?
Whether it’s air or trapped application solution (don’t know if they use that for PPF) poke a little hole straight down into it with a small syringe needle and bleed whatever it is out. A pin or sewing needle could work too, but you’re more likely to see the spot you punched after it’s flat. If PPF works like vinyl wrap it shouldn’t come back.

Copy…I wanted to throw the ask out there before any poking and prodding. Hoping there wasn’t a larger OEM defect at play, but definitely bringing her back to the installer if it is a defect in the PPF product or install to get after.

Mine’s naked, no PPF. I’ll scan for defects tomorrow. It is odd they’re in almost identical spots.

How recently was the PPF done and assuming it’s garaged or stored, have you had a chance to let it bake in the sun? They almost look like creases that haven’t worked themselves out yet. 100% of the PPF I’ve had applied is filled with visual anomalies for about a week until it can cook in the sun for at least 20-30 hours spanned over many heat cool cycles. I intentionally park in the sun as much as possible post install so I can get it back quick if there is a real problem that hasn’t healed. This is the case for bubbles or creases. Was the lower portions done in track armor oriented PPF? If so, double the time above as it’s very thick.

Well… that is a great deal, I like it in white tri-coat… but when it gets dirty it really shows. That $54K won’t be the OTR price, as some have said. There will be 7% sales tax in Pittsburgh, so almost $4K in taxes depending on where you buy, registration, maybe some extras to negotiate down like the ā€œdealer prepā€. I’m thinking it will get closer to $60K. You may also pay transportation costs to ship it from PA to your State, rather than go there & drive it home. It actually isn’t a good idea to drive it interstate! This b/c 1) It’s new & unfamiliar, 2) Ideal engine break-in says ā€œnot driving at constant highway speeds for extended periodsā€.

I paid quite a bit more in CA (translation: got screwed) to get the 2025 Z Nismo I wanted. But I did add SWAT (like Lo-Jack) and ā€œlifetime Ester oil changesā€ (probably BS, as the interval for the first one is a year or a stupid number of miles- only time will tell if it’s worth it). I declined the clearcoat protection, which is probably just a ceramic coat, so they waived that charge. But I drove it home that day which was 8mi away…

this dealer is 8 miles away from me :p i was just in CA visiting my gf, and prices for Z's are generally a lot higher. plus with PA, if you trade in, you save on tax... i traded in for my Z and saved about $3,000 in taxes (car i traded in was worth 30k)

that said, if i was within a few hundred miles and in the market for a Nismo, this is a great buy!

also clearcoat offered by dealer is garbage, good call. that said, i am getting a legit ceramic coat next week :p

PPF has been on there for a few months now although I tend to keep her in the shade or covered when home as my daily she’s always outside.

The entire job was in XPEL stealth PPF but I have some time this weekend for a few pin pricks while I keep her in the sun. Thanks!
