How much space does the trunk have?

Hi all, I have my order in on a new z coming in a week or two. I wanted to see if someone could get a measuring tape and tell me how much room from window to floor does the trunk have? I have a small dog and want to get a kennel that will fit back there. Please let me know the low, mid and tallest heights in the trunk please. Or if someone already has a kennel that fits, please send the link!

Well, i dont own one yet but when i did a test drive i got my buddy who's about 5'8/5'9 to hop in the trunk of the car and after curling up a bit i was able to close the hatch.
its not huge but honestly, enough space to fit a human is good enough for me considering its a sports car

Edit: reading the rest of your message, you'd probably be more than fine to fit a small kennel in there, id say from shoulder to shoulder my friend is a foot and a half(ish) long... also take everything i just said with a very large grain of salt

Congrats! Go hit CA 395 west. One of the best drives I've ever taken

I'd say no hard kennel will fit. In fact I think the entire back is a fine kennel.

Once you have it go to a good, local pet store and they will let you experiment.

Mine is 72 pounds so it is no go with her.
