Did you drive the car without the hot box? I’m trying to determine if it makes enough of a difference to invest the money in it.

Yes, it makes a notable difference. They say it put out 20 extra horse, feels like more. My dealer also said it does not break the warranty. Im breaking my car in slowly, and want the warranty in case anything comes up. For me it was a good decision and when I take the next steps can always sell it. I called Z1 Motorsport's on it n watched the video, they explained it to me. I'm learning my car and it's very personal, the other tunes on market look good also but that would break my warranty. Im going in small steps, same thing I did with my 2003 Mustang Ford Cobra Terminator convertible 6 speed stick I was up to 680 on horse on that. Everything has a season. Could of bought the Shelby Gt500, studied alot of cars before buying my Z. 59 years old and the Z for me is just way to much fun. The cold air intake n larger exhaust with hotbox kicks out. Have fun. Believe the Z1 hotbox is a good bang for the buck, agaign the other tunes out there will give you more as you pay to play. Watching videos learning what others are doing. Zilla on you tube is really good. Have a good night.
